Region D Tournament (somebody help me)

I believe that Lebanon and GC cannot tie for the lead 2 way without VA High being upset along the way. So far those teams have all split with each other, with GC/Lebanon playing this week. If GC wins, they should lock up the CMD. If Lebanon wins, then you have a 3 way tie.

Thank you, if thats the case the rest of the D2 teams should be heavy fans of the Pioneers. It would hurt each teams regional qualification points heavily. I'll update my originial post to reflect this information. Thanks stripes.

Yeah, a Lebanon win and you get a three-way tie. A win by GC and they would win it with a win over Lee. Of course, upsets could change all that, probably the mostly likely of any in that case would be a win by Lee over GC which could create a tie between GC-Va High barring any other upsets. Battle came close against Va High the first time, probably not going to be that case next time around though.

Gate City....5-1 (Loss: Va High; Wins: Battle (2), Lebanon, Lee, Va High
Va High......5-2 (Losses: Gate City, Lebanon; Wins: Battle, Gate City, Lebanon, Lee (2))
Lebanon.....4-2 (Losses: Gate City, Va High; Wins: Battle, Lee (2), Va High)

District games left....

Wednesday:
Gate City @ Lebanon
Virginia High @ John Battle

Friday:
John Battle @ Lebanon
Lee High @ Gate City

The first tiebreaker in your Honaker/PV tie would be head to head. Since you stated that they haven't played, the 2nd tiebreaker is District Winning %. So whichever team has the better percentage in their district would get the higher seed. I believe tiebreaker 3 is record versus common opponents.

B. Regular Season District winning percentage.
C. Winning percentage vs. common opponents.
D. Winning percentage in games vs. all Region D Tournament qualifiers.
E. Overall winning percentage (All Games).
F. Coin-Flip.
